I ordered a euro police surplus Beretta 85 Cheetah online, then realized that it used a single stack 8 round mag and the 84 probably would have been a better option since it’s a double stack 13 rounder. The 85 got delivered to my FFL today, and I mentioned to him how I’d probably sell the 85 and get an 84 instead.

FFL offered to sell me his personal stainless 84, but then pulled out this old blued model that he forgot he had sitting in the back. Ended up buying it and now I find myself with a beretta cat collection.

I should probably still sell this 85…

I’ve wanted a stainless 84 for a very long time. Should have paid the $525 way back when. They are too much for my wallet now.

I’m not entirely sure what price he has in mind for it but he wasn’t aware of how much these have appreciated till I mentioned it to him. I oughta ask.

Never in my life thought I would buy a HiPoint, but for $100 why not… if it’s terrible I’ll get double my money with Turners GunBuyBack lol

Pause for incoming shame.... I have one too. It does suck lol. The pistol grip is God awful wide, it punches you in the cheek every shot, and that trigger..... But it does send a 45acp at around 1130fps through a suppressor stoopid quiet so it keeps a place in the safe. Terrible gun though lol.

Doesn't the Hi-Point have a lifetime guarantee? I have a friend who has the 9mm carbine and it just works, every time. His only complaint is that it's a tad heavy.

Yeah, supposedly they are top notch on the warranty service. Even if it’s user error they repair/replace
