Last night I cooked up my usual hunting load of 57gr RL 19 under a 139gr Hornady interlock. I decided to make a batch with magnum primers and run them both through the chronograph. If the mag primered rounds print the same I'll use them if it gets below freezing.

Doubt it will even be a factor but nice to have all the same. I've hunted with the same 280 Remington for almost 2 decades now and that cold bore shot is right on the money.

Handful of 243 with some old 760 under 85g Sierra HPs.
Two different powder charges. Love these old molly coated bullets.
One at a time is how I roll em.

Realized I’m pretty low on .45, so I’ve got some brass in the tumbler right now. Have a few days off, plenty of brass, powder, and primers. No excuse not to get a bunch loaded up.

Loaded 40 30br with 110 Sierra’s for load development, trip to the range tomorrow. Cleaned, annealed, neck sized, body sized, and primed an additional +/- 80.

Loaded up some 6.5 Creedmoor with H4350. Trying some different seating depths. On a side note, saw small pistol primers and small rifle primers at Academy today. Too expensive for me right now, $6.99 a pack. But I guess that’s the new normal.

Yesterday I researched more .357 loads and shopped some different lead bullets. Looks like supply is pretty good for those now.

Think I'm going to give these a try:

Loaded up some 75gr & 80gr ELD-M test loads for my newly built custom 223. My Trigger Tech trigger was finally shipped yesterday, so I should be able to install it, and shoot the rifle sometime this week.
Since I had the chamber cut with +.100" freebore, I seated them .010" off the lands with a COAL of 2.510". That still gives me .040" of room in the MDT AICS magazines!
