The prep center is what I need to get for sure. May go order it now while my hands are hurting. If I wait, I’ll cheap out, then complain again when I have to prep the next 100!

I use an app that gives rebates for gas. I use it for my work truck and made out pretty good from it pre-pandemic. I cashed out in amazon cards and bought the prep center and 2 new presses. Currently I'm cashing out Cabela's gift cards. I'm saving up towards a 460 s&w .... I set the bar high!!! I think I'll settle for a 45c or something though.

I have the lyman prep station w/cutters and chamfer tooling and it's worth it's weight in gold. Do NOT hesitate to buy one. An absolute must for bottle necked cartridges.

Just ordered off Amazon. Same price ($161) as Midway and a couple other places, but free shipping on Amazon.

Working on the flooring in my reloading room.

Love my Inline Fabrication quick change mounts. Normally.

Found out today that standing up while sitting on the floor when there's one above one's head- at least my head- creates an immediate problem.

But every problem presents an opportunity to develop a well-reasoned, comprehensive, effective solution.

Instead of all that, I simply taped some foam to the bottom of the mounts....

If anyone sees the Federal SP 90g in 224 let me know. Want to work up a load using those for 224 Valkyrie. Can’t locate those projectiles.

Last night, replaced the broken handgun de-priming pin in my Dillon 550B, found the spare in the blue box for the dies. Today I ordered some more spare pins from Dillon, a 10 pack.

Did some load development/testing this weekend. First pic is run of ambient temp ammo. Then following with 10 that were in the deep freeze for a little over an hour and 9 from a mag that was on the dash of the truck with defrost on high.

    You need one of these:

I put my primed case on the digital scale, zero it, then put the case under the dispenser and charge it, and re-weigh it. Charge is usually within 0.1 grains and I use a powder trickler to make it exactly what I want.

Eventually I’ll get something like that. Right now, I just use a Lee dipper to get close, and then trickle up. Just started loading rifle cartridges recently, and realized that it’s a whole lot different than just pumping out a bunch of 9mm or .45 on my turret press. It’s definitely a lot more rewarding though, when you leave the range, after finding that perfect load for your rifle. Working up some hunting loads right now. Would like to get a chronograph too.

Midway has some Shooters World powders in stock. Never used them before so I ordered 2 lbs of the Precision to test. Supposedly a similar burn rate to Varget.

Just wrapped up another few batches of 308 test loads. Trying to compare a low node(42.5gr imr 4064) and a higher one at 43.5. I also decided to see how the AR10 likes 150 grainers in a middle of the road charge. Won't get a chance to shoot them for a week or two but excited all the same.

I use 4064 for my 7mm. Just found out I had a bottle laying around, too. Gonna get to loading up some here soon.

It will be my first venture with 150gr pills in the 308. Somehow I went heavy from the start and I'm flush with 165, 168 and 175 gr bullets. Imr 4064 has been great to work with in just about every caliber I've tried.

I had ordered a couple boxes of Hornady 150 grain soft point (Interlock) .308 bullets from Midway, to load up some 30.06 hunting rounds, several months ago, and I also got a box of 150 grain SST at the same time, that I planned to load up for my .308. As soon as I get that Shooters World powder in, I need to get those loaded up. Thanks for the reminder. I got busy working on a 6.5 creedmoor loading, after I bought that rifle, that I forgot all about having them.
