    Looks great!....

It gives me a pause thinking that 1911 may have a chambered round with that hook tough the trigger guard though.

I'd get a creepy feeling walking though the door with muzzles my direction head level as well but that's me not the safety of the matter.

I'm really not trying to dog your efforts. Gun walls are awesome!

I'd have to say I'm a bit concerned that the hammer on that beast is cocked.

Like Mat, I'm not trying to dash your efforts, but I'd be concerned with letting any and everyone know what all I got.

thats a closet that never gets opened and the 1911 is empty gentleman, I just dont like dropping he hammer on her. As far as letting every one know, isnt this what every texan house has?

Think you might want to think of some type of fire safe for all your ammo though.

If, God forbid, you have a fire, the FD probably will pull back and let it burn the first time a round cooks off.

My house is too dusty to do that, but it's cool. All of my centerfire guns are kept in condition 1, so I have no problem with your wall. But for the 1911, there's no point in having the hammer back if you don't have a thumper in the pipe.
