Volunteers and competitors wanted for Glock match @ Dallas Pistol Club last weekend in Oct 2024

For almost 30 years the Dallas Pistol Club has hosted an annual Glock pistol match at their Carrollton outdoor range. This match will be held Sat, Oct 26th and Sunday Oct 27th. To accomplish this the club needs a whole bunch of volunteers. SAVE THE DATE. One doesn't have to be a member of club to volunteer and/or own or even like Glock pistols. Minor children can volunteer if accompanied by parent/guardian. If you can operate pen/paper, tape targets or fog a mirror you are more than welcome.

Volunteers can work Saturday and/or Sunday period as short as 1/2 day. SAVE THE DATE. All volunteers will be eligible for free merchandise from Glock and drawings for free pistols from Glock. In 2022 eight pistols were awarded to volunteers. That can be you this year. Online volunteer signup will be available before the match through the DPC website.

There are two more Glock matches scheduled in TX after this match. Prizes are awarded to high shooters. So beg borrow but don't steal Glock pistol(s) and come to the match Saturday or Sunday as a volunteer and/or competitor. If you want to compete in the match go here to register and details how the match is conducted/scored. In the past I have volunteered all day Sat and 1/2 day Sunday giving me three chances to win a gun and shoot Sunday afternoon.

Note: if not already a member of GSSF you will have to join as a separate fee besides each gun you want to shoot. Shooters often bring two or more pistols. I have seen one individual shoot 8 different pistols in the match.

Dallas Pistol Club will put on a 'Glock Practice' match on Saturday, Oct 5th. No prizes will be awarded as this match is using the Glock course of fire stages, open to the public and one can shoot any kind of pistol.

Registration for the Oct 5th match will use the DPC website. Check the website later in Sep when registration is setup.
