I think that any auction house that advertises an RG-31 in good condition with an expected auction price of $200.00 - $250.00 is pulling your chain and pulling hard. Those revolvers typically sell for well under $150 and for one to sell for $150.00 they must be in almost pristine condition; at least if being purchased by someone who knows anything about firearms (but maybe not enough to avoid buying one of them, since they are often referred to as Rotten Guns). I don't know about the rest of their offerings but I think 'buyer beware' when it comes to that one would be advice probably well taken.

ETA: There is also an 18% buyer's premium but if you bid online in one of their auctions that goes up to 23%; see their "Buying" page. The auction house I typically bid with has a buyer's premium of only 13%. I guess if you (generic) have money to burn, 23% may not be bad for your wallet but damn that is too high for me.

Agreed, there is some really nice stuff in there. The 23% premium aside, I've learned to never underestimate the stupidity of people in large groups bidding on firearms. I have seen people pay $400 +tax and premium for a NEF Pardner 12ga break-open that they could've bought at Wal-mart for $97 (early 2000's).

Some interesting things in there. Prices seem all over the place. Some older commercial guns seem a bit low, but everything modern seems right at MSRP.

Wtf did bubba do to this poor Steyr?

23% is obnoxious. I go to several auctions a year, mostly heavy or farm equipment. below is a snip from my favorite in Oklahoma

I've never understood the appeal of auctions...of any kind.

Seems akin to buying a 'pig inna poke', but sure if it appeals to you, by all means enjoy...
