About a six month review of Kinetic internet service.So far pretty danged good. Only issue we seem to encounter is if the power goes out, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes for it to power back up and reset, but that would probably be with most systems anyway.So far, there seems to be almost no buffering when watching a program. Even Youtube doesn't buffer any more now. so the download speeds must be way faster. It's well worth the few dollars a month for the service over HughesNet.

You can get an UPS really cheaply that would solve most of your long power up issues. The one I have in my living room lasts an hour with TV, Sound bar, router, and network switch plugged into it.
