    The comment period is up on new ATF rules. They have signaled that, despite the recent supreme court ruling, in December they will classify pistols with braces as a SBR. This is going to open a floodgate of lawsuits of course, but it will also take a while to get the new rules overturned (the ATF is above the constitution anyway, right?).
    If you were considering a braced pistol, you should probably get it done sooner than later. I wouldn't expect Texas to enforce it, but the feds will, and getting one will likely get trickier closer to December when the rush is on.
