    Just trying to figure out my way to the Gulf of Mexico and avoiding radiation. Big Bend is an option but don’t want to be land locked. Would like to stay inside USA. Traveling from Georgetown north of Austin area.

    My old boss lives in Big Bend in his parent's old house. Multiple generators, satellite phone, multiple freezers, well water, rain water collection system, etc. You must be self-sufficient to live out there. No neighbors for miles, hours to drive to a store and when your power goes out, it can be awhile before it's fixed.

    In the woods...
    True. I think I've planned for end-game scenarios more than most and much less than some.

    Before I sold all my firearms and ammo, I was pretty well-prepared in that department.

    Still, if a person had enough food and supplies for self+1 for six months, then ate what game was available (if any) with zero refrigeration, things would get difficult real quick-like.

    Don't forget death claws, radscorpions, night stalkers, cazadores, and the brotherhood of steel :laughing:
    :m16::machine::oldschool::twin:

    Fucking brotherhood with their power armor and bullshit fake superiority and moral grandstanding. Makes sense seeing as they are spreading from California.

    I’ll leave the death claws and night stalkers for someone else. Not worth the fight.
