I picked up two new pieces. One, a Cattaraugus 225Q. Stout knife, 1095 steel I think, 3 oz. heavier than a Ka-Bar and with only a 6 in. blade. Leather washer handle in good shape and a 3 steel washer pommel. Shaving sharp with a little work. The other is an H & B Forge Goshawk with the beard cut down from 3.75 in. to 3 in. to save weight. A long 24 in. handle and a polled bit with a strong leather cover. Produced with a 100 year old, would it be called hydraulic or a hydraulic/air hammer? CNC machines and water jets have their place, but I love the look of forging.

I have a smartphone and I do take pictures, but I don't know how to post 'em. I'm technologically challenged. I have a friend coming over next week and I'll see if she can post them.

Ok. She's an RN. I had emergency surgery a few years ago for a blocked small intestine and she comes by to check my temperature, blood pressure and heart rate. Oh, and count out a week's worth of medicine. I'm fine, my numbers are all good. Blood pressure, sugar levels, PSA ect. And the surgery itself was a complete success but I ran into a wall during recovery, aged me 10 years. 72 is 72, but old age and treachery always defeat youth and inexperience.

    Take picture with phone.
    Open Forum on phone.
Hit "attach files" button below left of text window.
    Click on "files" button.
Find picture you want to post.
    Very easy.

ETA: You could also email the picture to yourself from the the phone if you only post on your computer.
