I don't wake to an alarm, but do normally wake around 7am, give or take. At 6:50am this morning I woke to the screaming alarm of my electric outage monitor...

It got me up quick to switch the alarm off, and then I went out to check main breakers; all good. It was raining, but not like as to take the power down.

At that point, I wondered if this was it, maybe a cyber-attack on the grid, being as Black Friday would be pretty symbolic for that!

The power was off for only about 10 minutes, but I'm thankful that I can deal with grid-down, as long as my own off-grid system remains functional...
