A couple of friends of mine went to Vegas 2 weeks ago. They left a day early and vowed never to return - at least until after this virus thing has run it's course. The town was nearly deserted except for every bum and every gang banger that could hitch a ride from Los Angeles. It was an absolute nightmare.

We love Las Vegas and went there many, many times over the years. Just a place to have some fun, do some partying, little bit of gambling, great shows, free drinks, great restaurants, huge variety of things to see and do.

I'm not sure that the "left-wingers" are the cause of the current problems in Las Vegas. I don't like leftists either, but I think the problem now is pretty much caused by the Chinese virus.

The major casino hotels on the strip are kind of the drivers of what is going on in Las Vegas.

As soon as this Chinese virus is over and things get back opened in Vegas we will be right there. In fact we had a trip scheduled for Vegas when the original shut down happened and had to cancel.

Just carry your EDC and go.....

The LV strip is not in the city of Las Vegas. And they are not having the goofy Portland/Seattle antifa, blm crap. Their problem is just troubles with the white, black and hispanic trash and troublemakers that come because of cheap rooms and drinks from Los Angeles mainly.

Got a brother that lives in N Las Vegas. High prices, high crime rate. Some nice golf courses, good eats at casino buffet (this was pre-covid), and the Clark County Shooting Center is extensive (but populated by Range Nazi RO/SO). You can shoot rifle, pistol, trap, skeet, sporting clays, and even rent a fancy shotgun to try out or if you are traveling w/o one.

The times I was on the strip for conventions I hated it. I hate gambling, and I hate the prices to get into the shows.

Actually they borrowed a lot of it. Several have gone bankrupt and the rest have huge amounts of debt they owe. Gambling losses are a much smaller part of of Las Vegas casino/hotel revenues than it used to be.

All the times I partied in LV.... I never had any problems and always had a good time. They had some beautiful desert golf courses.

Best story was backstage hanging with Tommy Lee before the Crew concert.

The Pearl Jam concert was pretty epic.
