    Hi Gunners,

Took advantage of an offer on this book and some NRA periodicals. When I pm'd about it, I mentioned that I thought that this was a book that I had browsed through before, and had found some errors. Yep, this is the one. Surprising considering the contributing authors pedigrees'. Many of the firearms are unknown to me, and by far I'm no expert. Here's a few examples of info that's just not right, but the pictures are great.
The M1 Garand "also made in carbine length", shows bunch of M1 Carbines, text never mentions that it's a whole different gun.
My beloved SKS mag is replenished with 5 round chargers. The pict of a Para, has it in a Combat Exchange side folder with a wood HG and no mag, looks hedious. They also go on to say that the SKS was inferior to the AK. Blasphemy!!!
Browning BAR (commercial hunting model), first pict in text shows T-bolt, lists as standard grade.
There's quite a number of omissions as well as incorrect text.
If you were to purchase this when new, 1K of X39 would have been a better buy. PAX
