I must be looking older because people are holding the door open for me. I always held the door open for my elders.
I reported for duty at Camp Shelby today and was repeatedly addressed as "sir".
I hate continually having to remind younger soldiers that I am an NCO not an officer. Sarge, Master sergeant, M.F, A-hole, old man, I don't care but never "sir".

Time to sign off as I've got a formation early in the morning and can't let the youngsters see the old man ain't up to the job.

    Middle age crazy crisis?

I had a choice between a little red sports car or a ridiculously younger girlfriend. If I had chosen the car, I'd have spent a lot less money and I'd still have it.
Ha! I chose a little blue sports car and while it saved me a lot of money, several years later I realized I could NOT gracefully crawl out of that car so I sold it.

I never had the middle age crisis thing. I also couldn't care less my hair is thinning in the front a little.

    1 Your actual legal age.
2 The age you think of your self as. Could be a range.
3 Age your spouse thinks you act or look like. Range ok.
4 The age others see you as. Range ok
5 The age you feel. Range ok

    1. keep em guessing, but I look younger than I am.
    2. 30ish
    3. n/a but she thought I was 15 most of the time.
    4. Not a clue
    5. 30's often till I actually do some hard work, then I'm feeling 60ish.
