This pair is extremely rare set of Davidson's exclusive .45ACP Sam Colt Limited edition Colt government 1911's. One is the Blued finish and the other is the stainless steal finish. Both are new-in-box and have been kept in the plastic except to take these pictures one time and while using rags to hold. Other than that, they've not been handled. The blue one is serial #SCB173 and the stainless steal one is serial #SCS318.

That's obviously a fake ad. They didn't ask for a Bill of Sale like most Texas Gun Trader listings.

I messaged him to confirm his asking price was correct. He assured me it was, then seem surprised that I didn't "at least make an offer". I explained that given that I could still obtain both on the retail market at under MSRP, I didn't see a need to make an offer... lol

I should have kept his reply....he let me know that he was pretty firm on his price since these are "Limited Edition" guns that "will continue to increase in value." And he might well be right....in about 60-70 years.
