Our overnight house guest went home with her parents about 8:30 this morning. Called the veterinarian on her rabies tag & got her back with her owner’s.

We have a refugee from the stormy weather. The wife was bringing stuff in from her car, when this one was waiting to come in out of the weather. Rabies tag, but no name tag with phone number.

Rabies tag is out of Burleson, Texas 2 + hours away.

Most of the houses here are weekend homes. When the vet gave the wife the owners phone number it was a Commiepornia area code. Vet in Burleson must be were they normally live. They told the wife they are just down the street.

He has a whole posse of neighborhood dogs that come over wanting to play. Being the excitable boy he is, he has gone over the fence numerous times to join them.

While its common practice for the other dogs to run free in the neighborhood I don’t approve of it. Not trying to be overly protective I just don’t want something to happen to him were I end up footing the bill.
