Anyone ever fish at the Texas City Dike? I finally made time to take my family over there, last week during sprinig break. Imagine my surprise to find out that it's closed off to the public due to IKE damage.
Looks like all the bait houses along the Dike were wiped out. You can fish the levee but the Dike is closed off. My 9 year old daughter & I have been going there since she was 4 years old. I guess we'll have to fish the levee for now. I saw something on the internet about there aren't any funds to begin any repairs.
