Almost as fast as my renewal, but sure beats the 7 weeks in 2015, and at that time I was told that was fast.Just updating on this, I got my LTC in the mail today, Dec. 24.
So 20 days total from application to getting it in the mail. I'm pleasantly surprised it was this quick, and just in time for Christmas too!
Signage has some advantages and of course not having to wait on a background check at many FFL's. The cost isn't a deal breaker with me, and I was able to renew mine online.I've not applied for renewal yet, but I keep wondering what the advantage is to having the license now that the state allows carry without one. Did I miss something?
Up to you. I forgot that it may have advantages outside of state too. Thanks! I could renew mine on line also but I think I'll just let it die a natural death!
The aforementioned open carry law may have reduced DPS' LTC renewal workload.Received mine today. 15 business days from re-apply till in hand. Great job DPS
