It does apply, and you can read it at 15 USC 105. I already covered this in post 28. They are claiming the SemiAuto Bushmaster is a military weapon, and should not be sold or marketed to civilians. The problems with this 1) There is nothing wrong or illegal about selling or marketing military firearms to civilians, just about everybody has a Glock 17, designed for the Austrian military. 2) A SemiAuto Bushmaster is not a military weapon.
Spend ten seconds with Google yourself and you’ll see. Besides, I just like to get you twisted off and watch you argue.
Arguing? I am not arguing or disagreeing with you, just asking you to cite your sources for your claims.
And like I said, "this precedent will open the floodgates for more lawsuits, now the lawyers see their suits will not be dismissed before trial." Looks like Baltimore is next to try and get a piece of the action: https://www.wbaltv.com/article/balt...s-sandy-hook-families-supreme-court/29856126#
Except Baltimore can't even blame the advertising like Sandy Hook is doing. Even if they win and it is upheld at SCOTUS, they still won't have anything. The gangs are not stealing guns based on advertising. Sent by an idjit coffeeholic from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
The floodgates have been opened. The seal has been broken. I think we'll see a lot more of this. Family of Vegas Victim Sues Gunmakers https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/family-las-vegas-mas-shooting-victim-sues-gun-64103282
Suing eight gun manufacturers and gun shops in Nevada and Utah. Yeah, I don't see that going the long haul. Maybe they should sue the Hotel for being high enough to give the shooter a vantage point. The gun manufacturers didn't make the bump stocks. Where does it end?
