Suppressor cover

Picked up my first suppressor this morning, and ran to the range to try it out. Damn things ought to be mandatory, not regulated!! Gonna be fantastic for hunting. But, for plinking at the range, I was getting bad mirage after 3 shots. Talking to the guy next to me, who was also shooting suppressed, told me Armageddon gear was a good place to get a cover for it to cut down the mirage. Was that a good suggestion, or is there another option I should look at?

Yes. It is my favorite cover. Fits snug, does not move around and you can get different colors. But the caveat is they don't work with QD mounts. Direct threaded only.

I like Cole-Tac. Every cover is custom made, to your specs. They have a great selection of sewn goods as well.

Have an armageddon gear one and it works well.

They help a lot. Just make sure you get one with velcro and not paracord. Those are a PITA.

If you run it hard enough, it won't matter what brand you get, it'll melt

Ended up getting one from Wiebad. It is a Rifles Only MAD in black multi cam. Fits great. Hopefully I’ll get to test it out next week

I just got one from Odin Works. Haven't got to the range with it yet, but it seems well made as you would expect from them.
