Dropped a sow last night. About 90 yards with the .30-06 through the ear canal. Average sized sow for the area, maybe 100 lbs. the strange part was the softball sized lump on her right hip. I’ve never seen something like it. I only poked it once and it was kinda firm. Could it be a cancer, cyst, infection from an injury/wound?
For the record, I didn’t butcher it because of this. Let the buzzards have a meal

Betting on lipoma also. Can't tell without opening it. My dog has a couple that are at least 2". Lipoma has a soft-rubbery feel to it.

I poked it once or twice but not very hard. I was kind of afraid of it popping if I pressed too hard. I can say it wasn’t a water balloon and it wasn’t a rock. Kinda firm and squishy. (Maybe like a cheap boob implant? Haha)

Update: hog hasn’t been touched by anything. Bloated like a balloon and stinks but nothing is eating it. Dodged a bullet I guess
Currently sitting in the stand for more hogs. Gonna be a long night. Came at 2am this morning according to the camera

Cut a small chunk off and lay it top of a fire ant mount.

If they don't eat it - you have even more proof it was filled with bad ju-ju...
