Does anyone here store their brass this way? I was on another forum and found several people were doing ti that way.

I began to consider picking up some different powders and figured priming the brass would be a good way to kill time waiting for shipment of forementioned powders.

I have primed rifle brass that I have stored. They came that way. Stored in sealable plastic boxes.
I DO NOT mix the calibers.
One of the first things I do with all brass is separate calibers.

I have bags upon bags of various primed ready to load brass. The only negative is the likely hood of distorting the case mouth through handling. I prefer to batch out loaded ammo shortly after priming. Back in 08' it was a great way to get around paying hazmat. Primed brass is considered safer than primers alone.

Primers dont go bad any faster in brass than they do in sleeves. Tickle your fancy and preprime unless using LF primers. Then dont un ess you plan on storing in vacuum sealed moisture barrier bags

I keep thousands of rounds of brass primed and ready to load in most types of cartridges that I shoot. Have done it for decades, doesn't hurt a thing, and is one less step I have to do when I go out in the shop to load ammo.
I usually prime the brass after I process it. All of the primed cases are stored in 50 or 100 round ammo boxes, and labeled with the brand/type of primers used.

Keep all my bolt gun brass prepped, primed and ready to go.
I keep them in 50 lot packages in zip lock bags and then by caliber in tall Tupperware containers.

Hello everyone, new to the forum.

I separate by calibers, state of prep, ie dirty, cleaned, sized , etc and for .45, primer size. All in 5 gal buckets. I’m a little OCD...

I have multiple calibers of primed brass separated and stored in cigar boxes. Done this for years and never had any problems other than finding the time to finish reloading.

I have a bunch of primed 308 in ziploc bags. Accidentally tumbled some primed 308 not too long ago. They all shot fine afterwards.

Caliber, I also store it by head stamp.
