    i posted about a week or more ago about a double action .22 six shooter revolver and i need help in identifying it so i can get the few parts needed to restore it. i have a couple of other pictures that should help. thank you all again in advance.

    I suspect that you'll only get opinions and guesses here, so I'd suggest taking it to a gunsmith or two to see what you can ascertain. Or maybe find a message board that focuses on antique weapons, if there is even such a thing?

    Looks like an old RG. If it is, I wouldn't bother trying to restore it. I would also be concerned that there are no markings on it. It's as though someone tried to sanitize it or something.

    From the pictures it appears to be an Iver Johnson, but without getting a better look at it i can tell you diffinitively. Where are you located?
    No... I'm 99.9% certain that's an RG. Iver Johnson made mostly break-tops and the few that weren't looked nothing like that.
