When a state hardly has any public land, the complaining is illogical. Someone owns land; if you want to use their land and they ask for money, pay or keep looking. Not much else to talk about.

But The Free Shit Army lurks everywhere! And once they get on the land to hunt for free they want some of that poduce for free & a free calf & butcher it for free, & the farmers daughter is hot so they want that. And people wonder why I hate devilcraps with their socialist commie leanings.

I used to do day hunts on my place for $200 which was deer and hog, but the hunters messed up more than it was worth so now I just shoot them and drag them to a spot on my property. Tried to call folks to get the meat the first few I harvested but when its time to come and get one they are always to busy or some other bs so now I just leave'em layin. Except for the deer we harvest.

As far as paying to hunt on someone's land... I fully support it. It helps discourage those that, more than likely, shouldn't be hunting. As mentioned the Miller High Life drunk with a Walmart rifle and Academy shelf purchased optic. If me paying help me avoid encountering that "hunter" Ill pay! Plus it helps control how many hunters on the land owners, land. Don't want a free for all with 50 hunters going after one animal.

With all that said, I'm looking for leases to hog hunt as well.

So, you're saying if someone owns a Walmart rifle and an Academy scope, they are worthless and have no business hunting? I have a cheap Academy AR and a Walmart scope, but I'm am a very conservative hunter. I respect the land and wildlife, only shoot what I need for food and tread lightly in the woods to leave as little a footprint as I can.

Walmart sells Savage. Academy sells Vortex. Deadly combo IMO. No need to spend $3,000 on a deer rifle. I’m sure most of our fathers spend less than 1/10th of that.

As far as charging goes, a lot of hunters **** up more shit than hogs do. A truck can rut up a pasture just as well as a few pigs and the pigs don’t shoot the cows.

Not all hunters are idiots, but not all are responsible either. Only takes one idiot to create a major loss for the land owner.
