So, I just received a new gun belt and M-TAC holster from the Comp-Tac folks, and all is well but for one thing - it squeaks when I walk. Maybe I'm just overly sensitive since I haven't carried before and I'm convinced the whole world is watching and listening, but I think it is noticeable enough to get someone's attention. Is this common? Does it go away with time?

I'm very satisfied with the gear and dealing with Comp-Tac; it was done when they said it would be done, and it was in my hands the day after they emailed me to tell me it was just put in the mail. That last part may be because they're located close enough to me that we may share the same post office location.

Anyway, just wondering about the squeaking - I guess I could buy new shoes and blame them. ;)

If it's leather, rub it down a few times with some mink oil or other leather conditioner. I did that with my Cross Breed SuperTuck and it solved those issues.
    All the best,
