At first I thought he was talking about Houston city. He's talking about the entire Bay area from Texas City to Port Arthur to the industrialization outside the Grand Parkway.

But he is right about the infrastructure. It is crumbling in other parts of the world.

Travel anywhere else outside of Texas and Houston looks like a golden Mecca. Houston is a blue collar town where it is normal for people to work hard and (for the most part) for the government to stay the hell out of business.

i lived there about 42 years out of my 61. It was the place with the job and money! To me, it’s a nice place to be from - FAR from!
