Same here. I noticed it last night, and I also have a 1gb fiber connection.
Only saw the slow images here.

A recurring issue for me:

Log on, browse a bit, eventually visit Introduction thread to say Howdy.

No newbie posts at all.

Log on later in the same day, now see new Introduction posts from way earlier the day before.

I'm home now. For me, pictures on a couple of picture-heavy pages snap right up with only the slightest visible delay.

Dunno. I haven't seen the problem with posted content. I have repeatedly seen that sort of thing happen with the process of approving new accounts. There will be one visible in the queue, I'll approve it, and the next screen will show another account request from a couple of hours prior to the one I just approved.

So, yeah, the board isn't perfect. Thanks for bringing this up.
