Not my rifle but same stock I have and the rail I ordered.

Wanting something with magnification and that sits as close to the rail as possible. Also would like decent eye relief. I like the Trijicon ACOG TA11E but I’m not sure if it’s gonna sit too high.

Really thinking about a 1-6/8 in the $800 range. Any thoughts there? Trijicon has some in that range, so does Leupold.

I think a 1-6 or 8 is a great choice for that rifle.

Don't pass up Vortex and Primary Arms in your searches. Sig might have some options too as well as Nightforce if budget allows.

The closest I own is a Leupold 1-4 and is very dated compared to current magnification options.

Have you considered a Delta Stryker 1-6?

I just got one, glass and eyebox very similar to the Vortex 1-6 Gen 2 HD I regret selling, but a lot lighter and under $700

Find a used Vortex Razor Gen 2 1-6, great glass. The ACOGs are good, but personally I don’t like the eye relief and lack of diopter which isn’t great if your eyes are past their prime. What kinda distances are you planning on shooting at?

I regret selling mine…but they’re very tough to find used. Folks snap them up pretty quickly.

I bought mine for $800 as an AA Optics refurb.
Sold it in about 11 milliseconds for $1100.

Haven’t been able to jump on them fast enough whenever AA Optics has another shipment of refurbs…or fast enough whenever is see used one got up.

That’s why I got the Delta Striker for $667
So far I’m impressed with it. Very comparable quality/glass, to my eyes and several reviewers.

I’ve been looking at Leupold, definitely some good options. Haven't looked a whole lot into Nightforce offerings in 1-6/8. I’m leaning towards a Trijicon in that magnification range, just not sure which one yet. I also want to see wat the rail is going to look like in person, height may be an issue.

In that case, let me spend some of your money.

And, with a little higher magnification:

I installed the rail last night, height isn’t too bad. Definitely needs a magnified optic instead of an Aimpoint. As it sits in the pic, 12lbs with the empty mag. In addition to optic, still needs some sort of handstop.
