At my age, if it doesn't have a motor and get me to where I want to go, It ain't worth riding!

    (No! I'm not dissing you!)

well, I've been riding like a mofo
Doing about 5 miles runs about 4 days a week and on weekends I am going out to my place in the country and riding much longer.
Today I made a 12 mile run with my wife. The terrain is up and down so its pretty intense at times.
    Loving it so far.

Just to start up an old thread... I ordered a 2nd bike
This time I got a Trek DS 1
It’s a hybrid bike for street and light off road and will be much faster and more nimble on pavement than my Specialized Rock Hopper is
I still ride it , but mainly at my weekend place where the terrain is more suitable to that type of bike.
