Not when he gets “conscripted” and sent to be killed by Ukrainians.

That'll never happen - he's too valuable an asset to the Russian government from a PR and intelligence standpoint. I applaud what he did, it needed done. I don't for a second think that Vladamir Putin, out of the kindness of his heart, granted citizenship to Snowden for nothing. They're getting something, he got something. US cannot extradite him now, and if he's snatcehd up and kidnapped it could well be an act of war, because you simply don't go about black bagging well known foriegn nationals and disappear them without consequence.

Snowden is a martyr who proved that if you reveal illegal activities by the U.S. Government against their citizenry, they will hunt you down and try to shut you up. The feds don’t like to have their crimimal activities revealed to the voters.

Brazil would turn him over in a heart beat, and its way easier to be snatched up and disappeared there. Russia is an actual safe haven for him. Julian Assange held out in the Ecudorian embassy in the UK for years, but even they gave him up.

Russia can protect him unlike other countries. Yeah, it sucks he wound up running to the commies - but he'd have been dead or in prison for life going anywhere else.
