These fuzzy little fuckers are horrible.
Worst pain I have ever experienced.
Asp caterpillar. Less than 1/2” long. Working in back yard I felt a bug of some kind crawling on my neck. Swatted it. Instantaneous blinding pain. Dropped to my knees and curled up on the ground in fetal position. Could not move for almost 10 minutes. Dogs were in freak out mode seeing me like that.
    Hurt for days.

This thread is making me think I should just wear knee high thick leather boots, long sleeves, gloves, and head net when outside, and carry a can of RAID and a Shockwave with birdshot (for Roach Megazord) when inside once I'm down there :cowboy:

Gets better. We have a bug called a blister beetle. Secretes an acidic substance from it chitin( shell plates) couple of color variations.

    here is one of them.
I fell asleep with the aid of good bourbon a few years ago at deer camp and slept on one of these bastards. Did not kill it, but trapped it so is was spewing acid on me all night long.

I was out with a girlfriend in a field behind her house, basically desert, got bit by something on my ankle that felt like a spider when I crushed it in my fingers. I think it was a black widow. The pain was ungodly and moved up my entire leg. Worse than how bad I hurt after any of my spinal fusion surgery. Fraking intense. 2 days in the hospital.

The bastards wouldn't give me the antivenom cause I couldn't swear what bit me.

If we have a wet spring and summer, I usually see quite a few water moccosins.
