One Week to Stop the Wait: Silencer Shop Sees 6-Day eForm Approvals

According to Silencer Shop, the long waits seem to be over with the introduction of the ATF's eForm process with approved forms coming back in just 6-days!

The ATF eForms process officially went live in December of 2021 and since then those who wanted to pick up a suppressor or other Form 4 items have been rapidly putting their forms in the online bin for the ATF to process. Now it seems that this new batch process that the ATF is using to process these eForms is finally paying off with many receiving their approved forms back in less than 30 days and in some cases in less than a week according to reports from Silencer Shop

Maybe time to do a SPR on a lower and a silencer. 2 stamps.

We haven't received any stamps on the new E FILE yet. We started at the end of December doing E FILE, but the website wasn't officially ready to go until the 2nd week of January. We even have the Silencer Shop Kisok that makes the process easier.

I think the 6days is Silencer Shop doing their 1st E File on the new system to run a test to make sure the system is working. I highly doubt it was an average Joe coming in to purchase a stamp. JMO

I think silencer shop needs to be careful about overselling this new E-file. They dont know what the average time will be and boasting about a 6 day return is misleading.

Im probably a month in on an edible stamp and not holding my breath.

Yeah, those suppressors we're all submitted on paper. Not via the new Edible/E-file method. They are making promises that this new process will be faster.

We just got a stamp for a customer today, & when my boss called to tell him it came in, my boss noticed the date of when the stamp was cashed. It was cashed a few weeks AFTER his stamp for the suppressor he has been waiting on for almost a year. We are wondering how the customer got his before the boss.

Efile - Cert 1/24/22 - Approved 4/4/22 = 100 days

Had one come in today that was 12 months 27 days.....non trust...his 3rd suppressor and is an active LEO.....

In some ways, the system is working. No special treatment.

This is only speculation but there have been a few posts on R/NFA from people receiving stamps in days vs weeks, months, or years. The theory is that these individuals had some sort of expedited approval for whatever reason with guesses ranging from LEO's to military personnel getting sent on deployment.

Other guesses being photoshopped images and other genuine bullshit so the <7 day approval is simply BS.
