Wow! Second naval base shooting this week. Still wondering if any of the people at Pearl who were shot are anyone I know.

Yea that sucks. My Baby Girl just finished A school and left Pensacola about a week and a half ago. I haven't had a chance to speak to her so I don't know if she knew anyone who is still there.

None of that story makes sense to me. I was attached to that base for a few months back in 2001, and they had their own police force, half Department of Defense Police, and half military. How did a county deputy get there in time to stop the gun man?

When I was at Shepard AFB 78-80 we trained Iranian pilots and they were all very good. We also trained Saudi pilots and they were there because they were related to the king but technically not very good. This may not bode well for the current king in Saudi Arabia, already known to kill and dismember journalists.
