Looking for some insight on the MR920s. Was looking at a few that were priced right around $1,000. I know they are basically uber modified Glocks but the reputation seems to be they are great pistols. Anyone here actually have one or shot one before?

I have two Shadow Systems MR920 Combat pistols. I have not had either at the range as of yet. I have dissembled both for a "deep cleaning" and I like what I see. As stated on the internet, the MR920 is a hopped-up Glock 19. Very similar in everyway. I prefer the way the MR920 feels in my hand. I have never been a big fan of the 2x4 feel of the G19 frame. I also like the trigger response of the MR920.
That being said, I carry a slightly modified G19 in my car everyday. That may change when and if I ever get to test out my MR920s.
I was able to buy both of my MRs below what I currently see on the internet. It pays to shop around and be patient.
    Good luck with your search.
