Nothing to worry about.....typical RINOs exposing themselves for who they really are. Trump isn't going anywhere. There's not a whisper of a reason why he should be. Fact is the longer this drags on, the more it hurts the opposition.

But you're right.....the GOP never stays solidified. But that's assuming they're all true believers in the GOP. They're not.

Hate to say it, but Pelosi took McConnell to the woodshed. McConnell has pretty much surrendered everything. He has walked back working with the White House, walked back vote to dismiss, and now it is almost certain there will be witnesses. She also delayed trial to favor Biden in early primaries. She is 4 for 4.

    That is too pessimistic.

He does not have the votes to dismiss, thanks to some RINO's. No use proceeding.

He has not promised witnesses, just the opposite. He has said he is open to Cruz's proposal for BOTH sides to have witnesses.

Yep, he lost all the positions he originally staked out. House Dems got what they wanted.

How do you get something that was nothing to begin with? Do you really think if Bolton were to testify there will all of the sudden be a crime that wasn't there?

Several RINO's have already come out publicly and stated they would not support dismissal. And the starting count is only 53. Simple math.

Get back to me if Dems alone call witnesses.

As far as the delay, blame Pelosi. Senate had no control over that.

If you want to keep bashing McConnell, at least find something valid.

My only worry about this whole thing is that if McConnel can't control his Senators what happens if they actually vote to impeach him.

Might happen with a couple or three, but they need 20 GOP members to vote for. And that's if every dem and the two independents vote to convict, which isn't necessarily a given just like in the house. And remember there is nothing.....not one fucking thing that warrants impeachment in the first place, much less removal from office. Even if they don't like Trump, can you imagine the blowback?

Nothing to fret over.....it's all for show and nothing more. Just a matter of who benefits most from the show. My bet is Trump.

The fact that "not one fucking thing that warrants impeachment in the first place" and the Articles will not be dismissed in first 5 minutes tells you how weak Republicans are.
