I figure this is as good a place as any to ask. A few years ago a few guys compiled all his letters into one file (can't remember if it was .txt, .pdf, etc.). I can't for the life of me find anyone who has it, even on survivalistboards.

Anyone here have it? I sure would appreciate adding this file to my collection of survival files; finding it in print seems even harder than finding the file. Thanks!

P.S. Please, please for the love of God don't link me to Tappan on Survival. It isn't the same thing. Thank you!

Tappan was not the moral equivalent of Capstick...but pretty close.

Still, he was a good writer and wrote plenty of useful stuff. I've got a copy of Survival Guns around here and I don't consider it too outdated. There are still good lessons in there.

Can't remember the name but there was a guy in the 70's that did the Grapenuts commercials, had a bunch of stuff on edible plants and such. Good stuff to know.

Tappan on Survival is still the best introduction to survivalism I know of, and I've read most of the big names: J.W. Rawles, Kurt Saxon, Ragnar Benson, Boston T. Party/Kenneth W. Royce... I'm probably forgetting a few.

The only section that has really fallen behind the times is the communications chapter (predictably). Every household should have a copy... and heed it!
