Looks to me like they are a bunch of socialist a-holes.

The general problem with the entire British Isles is that anyone who was worth a crap packed up and left a long time ago.

Last time I was in Scotland I talked to a lot of them about this issue, and pretty much every person was divided: they still harbored deep resentment of the British and the way the British treat them like a backwater, but they enjoy being part of "The Empire" and all the protections and benefits that affords. Personally, I'd say they're better off without the Brits, especially since the Scots are so business friendly compared to England.
