Scope mount ideas for an arisaka 99

just as the title said I'm looking for a scope base for my 99 and I'd prefer something non-invasive so I can keep the original condition of the rifle

I acquired a S&K mount for my Mosin M44 and it is very well engineered and seems to be of high quality...

yah I was looking at that s&k mount but I'm thinking that it'll be hard to get a scope with the right strength and eye relief

Cheap 7X LER Pistol Scope. Not the most hi-tech, but at a bargain price it seems to do the job...

Give "hawke optics" a look. I picked one up for my .308. seems to be doing the job. Good price on a solid piece of glass.

Yeah, it seems that long eye relief and decent magnification are mutually exclusive....

Nice clear optics. I have the 6-24x50 IR and it stay pretty darn clear at 24x. They come with a calibrated reticle to compensate for bullet drop. You insert the specs into a program they give you and it spits out your aim points at various powers/distances.
