Lots of American money for a proven battle tough optic. IF you ain't going to battle, save your dollars, buy a knock off if looks are involved. or a more modern optic if performance is your goal.
Or buy what he did if you are being prepared for a "hits the fan" scenario and you also want something that can be passed down to the grandkids.

Phuc a bunch of chicom knock off bullshit. I pretty much like nice things, spent my adult life working to own what I want. Hell if I like this ACOG I’ll buy another for a 20 inch barreled upper in the safe.

Nose to the charging handle. Best I can do in my easy chair watching For a Few Dollars More.
I have a LaRue mount on mine. Ordered a Kram plate to move it back some.

And this ain’t no air soft gun eit ,Hooly Rock and Roll;) that is a worthy application of an ACOG! I agree if money not a consideration then heck yes buy the best! AND sometimes the robust battle hardened tool is the ONLY way to go! I am not throwing shade at the ACOG at all

OH heck yes! I am just saying don't let good enough slide by unless you NEED the best! ACOGs rule in my book also.
I mean you can make that argument about anything. Why buy a glock or 1911 when you can get a Rohm or a hipoint?

Why buy nice brass case when you can get wolf or tula?

Good glass is always worth the investment
