San Antonio team gives tons of baseball gear to the Uganda team at the LLWS

The San Antonio Little League team put together bags of baseball gear to give their new friends from Uganda. For most of the Uganda kids, its their very first baseball glove.

Uganda does seem to be the darlings of this years series.

I've been debating on starting a LLWS thread. Been watching the hell out of it, as pure a 'ballgame' as your gonna get on the tube.

International Championship on NOW - US Championship on at 2:3pm today!

World Championship tomorrow at 3:00pm on ABC.

Wish they showed softball too. (Had 2 girls that used to play)

I've watched some too. It amazes me that the Uganda team has made it this far, without the training, the equipment and facilities the other teams have.

This WS is the first time they have had cleats. Some didn't even have shoes before that. Amazing.
