I bought two of the early models when they were first out (before the threaded barrels), and they ran OK, but were really picky about how you loaded the mags.

When I got my TacSol upper, I sold the S&Ws, but just this week I traded into another 15-22. It was brand new and current production with bird-cage on the threaded barrel.

I had it out back after I got it home and while I only ran 75 rounds of Federal bulk ammo thru it, I didn't have a single feed or function issue, and the magazine didn't seem to care how it was loaded.

The trigger is much better than the first two I had as well, and I expect with a bit of polish and some lighter springs it will be very good!

The other day, I found the MagPul BUIS I got at the pawn shop (for a great price) a few moths back, and they will go on in place of the factory sights.

Mine's wearing a Primary Arms M3 clone, at least for now.
