    does anybody know if you can interchange the cylinders of the wrangler? My son is considering buying two wranglers--one tan and one blued so he can mix/match the cylinders for a different look. Years ago Ruger said they have to tune each cylinder to the gun. I always thought you could interchange.

    Considering the price point, I'd guess there's no hand fitting on these.

    That is my assumption, too. I know with my son's Heritage revolver, he can send in a card and some money and they will send him the 22mag cylinder without having the gun sent in. So this ads to the idea that these are made well enough that nothing is "hand fitted" on these. I want to hold one and look at them, but everytime I go to academy they are sold out.

    But the cylinders are all black so that won't do him much good.

    Aluminum frame, so I guess I can't beat tent stakes in with one of these like my Heritage. Best part about a RR is DGAF.
