I've had a single six convertible as well as a single ten. Unfortunately the novelty wore off pretty quick and I let the single ten go after just a hundred rounds or so. I could see a bearcat in my future but 99% of my plinking is with semi autos. Even the single six sits on the chopping block lately. Beautiful stainless gun but the machining inside the converted cylinder looks like it was done with a dull corkscrew.

They're still timeless pieces but just not for me anymore. When I shoot single actions now they're either Colt 45s or 1911s.

Great gun. This was my first pistol in a 9-1/2 configuration. I got one recently in a 4-5/8. Both were built in 1980 era.

Picked one up two weeks ago for my youngest grandson, from a member here. He has been eyeing my Red Hawk so he may as well start getting a feel for it.
