Ruger Charger

I'm tossing around the idea of getting a Ruger Charger and putting a brace on it.

I'm wondering if anyone here has done so?

I've shot a few of the takedown ones.

They're neat, but the standard takedown breaks down small enough for me already, but if i had a suppressor I'd take a much harder look at a braced charger

Everyone loved shooting my Charger...…… except me! I tried a long eye relief scope and a few other options, but nothing gave me an effective sight picture with my trifocal glasses. I swapped it off.

My assessment of the Charger?
Coolest looking gun ever!
Perfect function.
Everyone who saw it, loved it!
It was a totally impractical firearm.

I’ve got a Charger with a pistol brace on it. Got a lot of other stuff too. My favorite thing to do with my Charger is to shoot it on the rifle range. With using an el cheapo Simmons 22 Mag scope, this is the grouping at 100 yards with using CCI Mini Mags(the highest velocity rounds that I feel comfortable with). With a better scope, my goal is no more than 2” groups at 100 yards and to consistently be able to ring a silhouette target at 300 yards.

I suggest switching to the Standard CCIs at 1070 fps and the group may shrink considerably.

If you put a stock on it, yes.
Not if you put a brace on it.

Yes. Put a brace on it instead and it's still a pistol.
