I don't think the steam engine burns coal anymore. Kind of takes something away from the experience for me. Still pretty cool though. We just rode last weekend and enjoyed it immensely. Try to get on the one pulled by the steam engine.
It was a nice, scenic drive and only two hours from where I live, just south of Lufkin.
Nope retired without a pension and lost my nest egg early in life.Check out Queen St Grill.
It’s pricey, but you’ve got the money.
No, it is now propane. Still the same sensation and sound.I don't think the steam engine burns coal anymore. Kind of takes something away from the experience for me. Still pretty cool though.
Wow in Palestine no less? If my old buddy Ralph and I show up for lunch in bib overalls, do you think they will turn us away? He just turned 89 & I'd love to take him there.Check out Queen St Grill.

We did the same. Caboose on the first leg. Hitched directly behind the tender on the way back. The wife and I rode the train last fall. We both loved it. I reserved us the Presidential car because they don't allow kids on that one. Plenty of room and comfy seats in the car. I recommend it, you'll like it.
