Off on another shotgun project, so want to find a new owner for this 12-gauge hammer double from Rock Island Armory and imported by them from Derya Arms in Turkey.
This nicely made shotgun has some unusual features. The barrels are 24 inches, chambered for 2 3/4 and 3-inch shells, and fitted with screw-in chokes of the Beretta/Benelli/Mobil pattern. Three came with the gun: IC. M and F. The shotgun is fitted with a sliding tang safety so that you can cock your hammers as you walk up on a bird and still have them both on safe. The gun opens and closes easily but firmly and the hammer cocking effort is easy( I have had some hammer doubles where it was quite a chore to haul back on both of them). Early models of this shotgun had automatic ejectors, but RIA heard enough from CAS shooters that they changed the design to extractors -- which this shotgun has. Asking $425 plus shipping if not face to face within a reasonable distance of Abilene/Sweetwater.
This gun got a very positive review from NRA/American Rifleman:
