The bedside gun is almost always my primary carry gun still left inside the waistband strong side hip. Things going bump in the night do not need to see me pants-less.

Since this got resurrected-ish here is an old pic of what is in the drawer. Some things have changed since then. But what is in arms reach, not in a drawer, has a longer length of pull.

My nightstand gun is the full size Beretta PX4 Storm INOX. Large enough for max capacity and the rotating barrel limits recoil. I've got both the compact and this one and love them both. Great shooters.
