I got tired of reloading in the garage in the summer.
I bought an armoire similar in style to the furniture in the spare room and brought in the .410 MEC Grabber to use in the comfort of A/C and heat.

I shoot and reload .410 the most. The 12, 20, and 28 reloaders reside in the garage at the old reloading bench. I swap them out for the .410 if it’s uncomfortable in the garage.

Y’all have some really nice setups.

Maybe I’m procrastinating or maybe I’m too chicken to start reloading. I have been keeping brass for over 10 years. I just don’t know where to begin. I have a RCBS Rock Chucker and some other pieces but I’ve been holding off on getting started. The locker on the left is full of powder, primers, bullets, brass and some dies.

As I learn more about reloading and gather the necessary equipment, I’m coming to realize that this new hobby is going to require a complete garage reconfiguration!

I have some ideas for what my reloading area should look like but I figured the experts on this forum would have much better ideas.

Please post a picture of your reloading setup, I could use the inspiration!

I started reloading 6.5 Creedmoor two years ago and have enjoyed it. Here are a couple of photos. Bought a solid bench 6' x 3.5' and put pegboard behind. Working well. You cannot have too many tools.

I sit using a tall chair with a back that I got on Amazon.

the Dillon 550 press is mounted on a walnut board and attached with homemade wing nuts. It can be removed without tools and remounted on the shelf under the bench to open up bench top if needed. I sit at the 550 and stand to use the 650.
walls are setup with French cleats so shelves can be moved as things change, with drilling holes or hammering nails.

I went the easy route and ordered 2 rolling cabinets with an added upper storage compartment for all reloading components. Benches are 1.75" hardwood (1 w/1.5" hardwood). I added metal shelving under 1 bench for comp, printer and firearm tools and parts.

Looks to me like a severe case of CDO. OCD for the rest of you, but those of us with it, prefer it to be alphabetical.
I do it by smallest to largest per caliber and cartridge power. My 6.5's are in order from6.5G, 6.5C, 260R then 264wm. Only 3 30cals, but in order 300bo, 308W then 300wm. I'm not an orderly type person, I just try not to lose any of it.

Nothing special about my setup. Small bench for a small space, made from a Gorilla rack workbench. Rock Chucker on the right, formerly had a Dillon 550B on the left. Bullets on the first shelf, brass on the bottom (disregard the bin of brass sitting out on the floor...my wife decided she needed to "borrow" one of my plastic bins...) Powder stored in the shelves and pullout bins on the left, dies and tools on the top shelf. The benchtop is a re-purposed kitchen countertop covered in indoor-outdoor carpeting. Why the carpeting on the benchtop? Well...I don't really know...seemed like a good idea at the time, I guess. Wouldn't do it again. Stool is highly adjustable for height, works great for those processes when I sit, and does double duty at the benchrest matches. Tumbler, sonic cleaner and all the associated messy stuff is out in the garage.
I think I might just do this. Looks like you are in your office. At the moment I'm in the garage doing my reloads all I could say it's HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!. I have build in shelves in my office that I could arrange all my stuff.

This was a good post on giving me ideas. What's the size of this and is that plywood wood for the top?

Gorilla Rack workbench is 48" wide by 24" deep and 36" high. Uprights in the back accommodate a shelf and pegboard for tool racks. I used an old kitchen countertop for the top, left over from a re-model; cut it to fit and tapped it in for a tight fit between the bench uprights.
Yup, this my "office" or what my wife likes to call "the gun room." Gun safe, ammo locker, cleaning table (one of those Husky brand roll-around tables that crank-adjust for height) reloading bench, storage bins and locker, along with computer, desk and chair. Not a large room but I made it all fit. Best thing about this setup? AC and a ceiling fan!

Most of y'all would run away screaming if you saw how disorganized my bench usually is. I reload in the garage, and finally decided to enclose my space with walls, and put a window ac unit in. I'm about 2/3 of the way through with my project.... it's been a lot more hassle than even I expected, but I keep telling myself the end result will most certainly be worth it.... hope I'm right....

This will leave the left side of the garage for my wife's car, and the remainder of the right side for my motorcycle... reloading in comfort? That will be a new one for me....
