Red dot readjustment after battery replacement?

Finally had to replace the battery on my sig Romeo Zero red dot. Due to the design it requires being removed to replace the battery.

My question is do the sights need to be readjusted after a battery replacement? Or does it keep them set?

If it is used for self defense, I wouldn't trust it.

Any time I remove and reinstall any sight, I check zero.

Depends. You should confirm zero after removing/re-installing any optic.
