I want to know who the genius is with a thought pattern like: "Wow, this piranha is too big for my tank. I think I'll let it go in the lake."

Or maybe its a delinquent who has watched to many piranha movies.

    Either way, please don't reproduce.

Looks like a case for two applications of some bleach to the tank.... one for the fish the other for the jean pool of the idiot

Ain't like a Piranha is going to breed with a Bass or Channel Cat.

    Why the big fuss?

Because Piranhas are illegal in Texas.

I'm sure they get in-state tuition too.

    Prohibition always leads to extremes.

    Be well.

Doesn't say what kind of bait/lure it was caught on.

Duh . . . hot dogs! Is there another bait? :-)

When I was 20 something a friend had a pacu. One day he put the @ 15 incher in a styrofoam cooler while he cleaned the aquarium. Minutes later, with one outburst from that bad boy, the cooler lay in pieces, water spreading across the floor, and a mouth full of teeth flopping wildly about. Being an emergency, I ran to get a beer so I had something to do while he fished in his living room.

I've had a couple red breasted somethin-or-others on my boat a few times. Topless, sunbathing girls at the lake always lead to trouble...
